DetailsThis listing is for white bookmarks made from my recycled handmade watercolor paper, and handmade lily leaf cordage.
I grow lilies in my garden, and have recently begun to find other uses for the leaves and stalks at the end of the growing season, besides making paper.
I processed the leaves and twisted and braided them into cordage by hand, usually while also enjoying the summer sun in my garden. So when it came time to choose a motif for the bookmarks, I thought botanical imagery would be fitting.
The paper of the bookmark is made from 100% recycled materials, and the hole for the cordage has been reinforced with a grommet. -

I previously purchased a similar bookmark with floral design and received many compliments when I untuck it from the folds of my book. I will gift this one to another lover of books and nature. Beautiful!
